In 2014, Cleveland Clinic awarded Twenty1 with the contract to fully furnish +600 apartments in Al Rayyana and Gate Tower in Abu Dhabi. Today the vast majority of the caretakers servicing the patients at the Cleveland Clinic are living in the apartments furnished by Twenty1.

From the beginning, the task was clear. Twenty1 had to install all needed furniture including small items, all the way down to the toilet paper so that the caretaker could basically walk straight into a new fully functional home.

In close dialogue with the Cleveland Clinic and Mubadala representatives Twenty1 build models for 1,2, and 3 bedroom apartments and the full list of items required. The furniture style had to accommodate the international caretakers coming from around the world who would eventually live in the furniture. Therefore an international modern style was chosen combining several types of wood for the different living areas. Darker wood for the living room and dining area and bright wood for the bedrooms.

This project is a text book example of the benefits from the vast portfolio of furniture available to any client to Twenty1 – directly from the factories. In this project we combined locally made beds with sofas from Poland, bedside tables from Denmark, lighting from Sweden, dinning tables from the Balkans, pictures from Denmark as well as locally produced curtains and small items – just to name a few. Harvesting the benefits from the vast supply portfolio meant that Twenty1 was able to accommodate the style the client was looking for while keep a competitive price and good quality.

The installation was done with Twenty1´s own dedicated and experienced team and conducted in batches as apartments became available.

Twenty1 continue to service Cleveland Clinic today.
